DJ Promise Chain is an alias, or something far from it. Their home is a web of memories, stretching from the haze of Pakistan, to the countryside in Georgia, to the springs of Texas. The work shared by DJ Promise Chain amplifies historical antipodes of refusal. Sound is poetry, a synthesis, a promise of noise that is heard and felt. The name ‘DJ Promise Chain’ implies connection, collective strength, a parting memory you can hold onto on your way back home, on the wide open path.
