Malaise vagal first started music with absurd productions like Micro-trottoir about pigeons enrolling in driving school and imposing their law on us. She then turned to darker, more meditative electronic music, as evidenced by her EP Les nouvelles vanités released last July, and then started mixing techno of the same ilk. Today, she would define herself as a DJ as a finder of futuristic sounds with multiple borrowings: acid, rave, EBM, bass music, r'n'b and even Latin rhythms, but always remixed in an unprecedented way, with the common denominator a sustained pace and a very present kick.
