Yung Aljahiz (aka Tyrantdistrict) is a Tunisian producer and member of the Toxiclub collective and a frequent collaborator with Cheb Terro . Formed at an unknown date, Toxiclub is a collective of poisoned minds and bodies, producing poisoned art, to give the world a taste of their own medicine. With influences from hardcore punk to Memphis gangster rap, and a taste of ancient Arab Maghreb magic and the occult, Toxiclub’s work seems to propagate from the back room of an abandoned chemical warehouse, intertwined with unexpected aesthetic elements celebrating the violence of dry industrial beats and shocking imagery.
