Every month, Poems for Flouka tells the story of a poem. A long one called “J'irais peindre la pénombre de bleu” written in 2022 about Marseille, interspersed with carte blanche to artists and people I esteem and love very much. For this month, I offer you the introduction to this long prose, to my stories of love and concrete.

For this episode, Allicin explores the links between the living and the virtual. In particular, our relationship to time and memory in the post-digital age. Wandering through cities, nature and the Internet, she collects and records elements that she then archives and uses to compose her pieces. Allicin mixes technologies and instruments from different eras. An unsettling game where the boundaries between organic, artificial and digital become porous, she creates narratives and spaces that advocate our right to slowness, questioning our place in the future and in the nature we are destroying.
