December is a very special time of the year in Colombia: throughout the whole month, people celebrate the end of the year listening to something called "december music".

This term refers to the different musical genres that have been listened to by Colombian families during christmas time, since the 1930's.

The sound of porro, cumbia, salsa, chucu chucu & more have shaped what would become an everlasting cultural cornerstone that unites Colombians in a joyful celebration on this special time of the year: la música de diciembre !

In this episode, you will mostly hear Colombian music, some Puerto Rican produced tracks, a couple of Venezuelan songs, as well as one Peruvian composed hit... all of them being timeless classics of diciembre !
